Meet The Doctor

Dr. Stubbs is a psychologist located on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. Her practice specializes in pediatrics, trauma-informed care, and integrative interventions that treat the whole person. Dr. Stubbs completed her Doctorate of Philosophy at Marquette University. Her psychological training includes positions at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, The Trauma Clinic of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Early Autism Project, and working within primary care behavioral health at Access and Group Health clinics. Dr. Stubbs has a breadth of experience in the provision of psychological and neuropsychological assessments as well as in general outpatient psychotherapy with children, adults, and families. She has specialized training and experience in conducting diagnostic assessments, including Autism-specific diagnostic evaluations, as well as treatment evaluations among children and adults. Treatment areas of specialization include trauma, anxiety and depression, ADHD, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, as well as anger and stress management. Dr. Stubbs’s clinical interests include integrative (biopsychosocial) health care, mindfulness, trauma-informed care/trauma-focused practice, and family systems. The emphasis of her clinical work is to promote enhanced neuropsychological functioning to encourage overall well-being throughout the lifespan. Dr. Stubbs grew up and attended high school in Madison, Wisconsin.
